This matches the SRC front bumper nicely and isn't that bad to install despite reading other reviews. Sure, not all of the holes lined up perfectly but two minutes with a half inch drill bit fixed that. As for drilling holes in the crossmember and installing with the supplied hardware, THE GAS TANK DOES NOT NEED TO BE DROPPED. It is a bit tight on the drivers side but I was able to get the hardware in place using angled needle nose vice grips and tighten it using about 18 inches of extensions. The passenger side is easy, you can fit your whole hand where the bolts need to be. I did the whole thing by myself in a few hours including removal of the factory bumper.

Another thing worth noting is this bumper will not affect your spare tire at all, meaning it sits level with the rear crossmember just like the factory bumper. I looked online before purchasing but could not find this info. I know some similar designed bumpers sit higher, which would have caused clearance issues with my spare. With the Smittybilt it is a non issue. Great bumper!
